Häfner's Broomgarden
"Häfner's Broomgarden" the little summer wine-tavern
You'll find it funny, but if in southern Germany a wine estate hangs up
a broom in front of its building, everybody gets excited.
Since 1827, each wine-estate has the right to open a little wine-tavern
with 40 seats for 4 month of each year and sell their self-made wines
and home-made food. The hanging broom is a sign that the tavern is
opened. So people call the restaurant a "Besen" - this means broom.
We created a special one - an "outdoor-broom". If the weather is good
you can sit in the little garden - so it's called "Besagärtle" - this
means "little broom- garden".
You can enjoy the summer in Häfner's Besagärtle!
If the weather is bad we move our seats inside our cosy tavern-rooms.
Häfner’s Besagärtle is opened each summer.
We offer a large variety of typical, traditional Swabian food and a
huge variety of wines.
