Sylvia Häfner - Hutt
Sylvie is the older of the two Häfner-daughters.
Grown up on her fathers estate, she studied wine-business management at the university of Heilbronn, Germany. During her studies she did an 7 month internship on the South African wine-estate "Rijk's Private Cellar" in Tulbagh, and a second one as Administration Assistant for the German wine institute at Phipps Public Relations in London. The theme of her diploma thesis was the importance of quality management for the German wine-branche. Another internship in the cellar of a huge local winery (Kellerei Kern, Schmiden) followed. Now she works on her father's estate. She is responsible for marketing and sales, the organisation of events and the little summer-restaurant "Besagärtle". She is our winemaker and sometimes you can find her outside working on the vineyards as well.
Sylvie loves Barrique-wines and Muskat-Trollinger.
